Caring for our Churchyard, Saturday 13 October @ 9:30am

The Woodlanders are helping in St Mary’s Churchyard Wilson Way, Horsell on Saturday October 13th, starting at 9.30 until 12.30. We will meet at the shed in the Churchyard.

This is a continuation of the Michaelmas Churchyard week and we will continue tidying the grass, watering a newly planted hedge, pruning rose bushes, planting some wild flowers in the “ Peace garden” area and weeding, raking dead leaves. There are tasks for everyone and every little helps. We will have coffee and cake in St Andrews room.

Please wear gloves : tools are useful if you have shears, secateurs, spade, rake.

The Woodlanders meet on the Second Saturday of each month in various locations: cutting back overgrown hedges along the footpaths: weeding the Village Hall car park: planting wild flowers in Pares Woodland or the churchyard and general maintenance.
