Your photo could appear in the 2021 Horsell Calendar!

The Horsell Charity Calendar has been issued every year since 2016 and has raised over £17,000 for local charities. The calendar team are starting work on the 2021 Horsell calendar and we need your help!

We'd love to see your photos. What we're looking for is anything to do with Horsell. Here's some ideas:

  • Our village through the seasons or through the years
  • Any vintage photos you may have of Horsell
  • Flora or fauna from the common or elsewhere in Horsell
  • Shots from Horsell activities - the Village show or Flowerpot Festival for example
  • Shots of beautiful houses or buildings in Horsell - or parts of them.
  • Photos of artwork depicting Horsell - but if you are not the person who made that art you need to ask permission of the artist.
  • Something more abstract - but still with a Horsell link.
There's a few rules. Remember that the photos in the calendar are almost square - so your photo would need to look good in that shape. We've been sent some fabulous photos in the past that just don't look right when converted to that format. If there are any identifiable people on the pictures you'll need their permission to enter the photo for the calendar.

The full size photos need to be taken at high resolution (a file size of at least 1Mb) so they will look good in the calendar.

Please send your photos to:

Horsell Residents' Association

Horsell Residents' Association was formed in 1965 as a non-political group open to all adult residents of Horsell. It exists as "the independent voice of Horsell" to:

1. promote, uphold and protect the interests of residents in matters that affect Horsell and its environs.

2. bring those matters to the notice of relevant bodies and accordingly keep its members informed.

3. support and promote social and benevolent activities for the general benefit of Horsell residents

Horsell Residents' Association upholds these aims activities including: publishing the quarterly magazine - The Resident - delivered by volunteers to all households; organising a Horsell Village Show and also through support of Horsell' community action team the Second Thursday Club.
